All Webelos are invited to join Troop 89 for the day on Saturday and participate in some more Boy Scout skill related activities (a bit different than the Cub Scout Camporee in May) during the day, dinner Saturday night, and a campfire (with skits put on by the boy scouts and an official American Flag retirement ceremony). Webelos 2 (with a parent) are also invited to spend the night with us and join us for breakfast Sunday morning. The boy scouts will introduce the Webelos to what life as a Boy Scout looks like and how it is different than Cub Scouts while our adult leaders will do the same for the parents. The purpose is to get the boys excited to continue with scouting once they age out of Cub Scouts.
